DePaul University’s School of Accountancy and Management Information Systems recently introduced a program that allows students to earn a graduate degree entirely online. The Master of Science in Accountancy Online Program lets students without an undergraduate accounting degree learn accounting skills outside of the classroom in a flexible format.

Like DePaul’s traditional M.S. in accountancy, the online program includes an integrated set of courses that emphasize components of professional accounting, such as successfully preparing for the CPA Exam. Core business classes also address how other business disciplines relate to accounting. Courses are taught by top-ranked faculty, including former and current high-level working professionals.

The online-only program offers
benefits including:

  • Flexible scheduling
  • The opportunity to revisit material as much as needed
  • Modular content (video lectures, online quizzes, online exams, discussion time)
  • Access to material 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
  • Instructors available regularly for direct feedback
The accountancy school also introduced a combined undergraduate-graduate degree this year. The Accelerated Bachelor-Master of Accountancy program allows accountancy majors to complete a bachelor’s degree and a graduate degree in accountancy in five years.
