Welcome to DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business.

As dean of DePaul's undergraduate business program and the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, I am asked one question more than any other:

Why study business at DePaul?

My answer is simple. Our college possesses a distinctive blend of qualities that prepare graduates to work, succeed and contribute to the global community.  They include:

  • A world-class faculty with a real-world approach to teaching
  • A location in the heart of Chicago, a dynamic hub for business
  • A curriculum that is current, global and extensive, reflecting recent trends in industry and business education
  • A college that's among only five percent o f  business schools worldw ide  a ccredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business

A Faculty  of Scholars and Professionals with Real-world Experience

It is not rare for a college to extol the excellence of its faculty, but it is extraordinary for such amazing talent to be recognized with a $30 million gift. That's exactly what alumnus Richard H. Driehaus did when he gave DePaul this record-breaking donation during the college's centennial year to support the recruitment and retention of top faculty well into the future.

The caliber of our faculty ensures that our business school has inventive instruction that successfully blends real-world business practices and theory for students. Our stellar faculty includes teachers, scholars and experienced practitioners with strong industry connections.

A World-Class Business City Offering Professional Experiences and Connections

Chicago is home to more than 400 major corporate headquarters, including 31 in the Fortune 500, plus five financial exchanges and the birth of a new tech startup every 48 hours.  It's a city built for business. Our college takes full advantage of this top-tier business location, turning the downtown business district into a laboratory of learning for our students. Few colleges offer such an opportunity and a powerful 63,000 alumni network that provide students with the connections to attain their goals.

A Breadth of Program Choices and Flexible Options

The diversity and size of our college ensures that we have created programs that are flexible and focused on students' needs. The DePaul MBA features several options, including a self-paced part-time MBA program, as well as three cohort offerings: the Evening Cohort MBA, Full-time Cohort MBA and Weekend Cohort MBA.

With a breadth of MBA concentrations and specialized master's degree options at our Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and career-oriented choices of majors in our undergraduate program, students can specialize in a field of their choice and offer immediate value to businesses upon graduation. We also have deep connections with academic institutions around the world and an active study abroad program that exposes students to the global economy.

You are welcome to visit us and obtain information on how the Driehaus College of Business and The Kellstadt Graduate School of Business can best meet your educational and professional needs.
