MBA Programs

The DePaul MBA is respected throughout Chicago, the U.S. and the world. Our programs are accredited by AACSB International (the premier accreditation body for business schools), and U.S. News and World Report has ranked our evening MBA program in the Top Ten for over a decade.

We know that your interest in earning such an MBA comes from your desire to enhance your career. Our curriculum allows you to design a flexible, career-centered experience that focuses on the skills you need to achieve your career goals. In addition to their high quality, our programs give you choices that enable you to tailor your educational experience to fit your needs:

Part-Time & Full-Time MBA Programs

The majority of DePaul's MBA students are working professionals who complete their degrees on a part-time basis. As a part-time student you can complete your program at your own pace; there are no minimum course requirements per quarter. Most students complete their degrees within two to three years, but you have six years to complete the degree requirements. If work or personal conflicts arise, you can even take a break for a quarter. You also get a full range of student services including full access to our Career Management Center.

Our 50-plus year history in serving the educational needs of working professionals has taught us the importance of flexibility and convenience. Thus, we offer the following options:

Morning MBA Program

The Morning MBA Program

The DePaul MBA’s morning program is a unique program that offers a part-time experience in the morning rather than through night classes. This format is designed for individuals whose personal, family or work responsibilities allow them to take classes a couple of mornings each week; including those seeking an MBA in order to retool in preparation for re-entering the work force.

This program offers the same curriculum and faculty as the highly respected evening MBA program. Additionally, morning students get access to a full complement of support services including the Career Management Center.

Morning MBA classes meet at the Loop campus which is conveniently located near many parking facilities and is accessible by public transportation such as Metra and the CTA.

In addition, we offer MBA degrees at two international locations:

We also offer a combined MBA/Juris Doctor (JD) program in conjunction with the DePaul College of Law.

Career-Focused Curriculum

Concentrations Courses / Electives

Kellstadt alumni now have the option of returning as non-degree seeking students to add another concentration to their transcript, by taking the additional (three or four) courses required.

While the career-focused curriculum features a maximum of 18 courses, students with different undergraduate and/or graduate degrees will take different numbers of courses. Students with extensive coursework in business may be able to complete their MBA with a minimum of 12 courses. Students with a non-business background, may be required to complete all 18.
