Degree Programs Abroad: Spotlight on Bahrain

Degree Program Abroad in The Kingdom of Bahrain

DePaul has a long-standing, successful partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF). This partnership allows KGSB students to complete an entire degree program at BIBF. The following degrees are available:

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Science in Human Resources
  • Master of Science in Finance
  • Master of Science in Finance with a concentration in Islamic Finance

Students are mostly working professionals drawn from the private sector and government ministries. Evening and weekend classes are taught face-to-face in Bahrain in English by Chicago-based DePaul faculty using a cohort format. A few select classes are taught by local faculty.

Short-term Study Abroad in Bahrain

Graduate students studying in Chicago have the unique opportunity to travel abroad and enroll in a KGSB course in Bahrain. By studying in Manama, students can experience the diverse culture of this Middle Eastern island country. Opportunities for our U.S. students

Our graduate business programs stress the global nature of our changing economy. We encourage students to explore the following international study opportunities:

Short-Term Study Abroad

During each of the academic breaks (winter, spring and summer), short-term (eight to 10 days) international study tours are available through DePaul University's Study Abroad Program for four hours course credit.  Check with your academic advisor to determine how a study tour can be applied to your program. For more information, contact DePaul's Study Abroad Program at 773-325-7450.

The study tours are open to both graduate and undergraduate students.  Study tours provide students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in global business practices and culture.

Long-Term Study Abroad

The College of Commerce partners with various universities abroad to give students the opportunity to enroll in courses as exchange students for a full academic term. Tuition is waived at the partner school but paid to DePaul. For more information, contact Kristen Jackson (312) 362-6779.
