For admission to the MS BIT program, applicants must apply through the CDM College. Students entering the MS BIT program are expected to have adequate background in calculus, statistics and computer science. They should consult with CDM faculty and academic advisors if they have questions about their level of preparation. In addition to the general university requirements, there are certain special grade requirements for this program. Students applying through the CDM College must maintain at least a 2.500 cumulative grade point average to remain in good standing and to graduate. Any grade below a "C-" will not count toward the degree. Reception of two "F" grades is grounds for dismissal. In order to graduate "with distinction," a student in the CDM College must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.7500 or better. A student who is absent from the program for three consecutive quarters will be dropped. There is a six-year deadline for completing the program.
