Sales Leadership Concentration

The Sales Leadership concentration is designed for students whose career interests involve selling, managing sales teams and leading sales-driven organizations where sales excellence is critical for success. Upon completing the concentration, students will develop:

  • Cutting-edge techniques in effective communication
  • Ability to deliver strong personal and group presentations
  • Agility in using powerful technologies to manage sales strategy
  • Segmentation and targeting methods to acquire and develop new business
  • Effective sales management models across a wide variety of businesses
  • Coaching skills critical to high performance selling organizations

Requirements

Students complete the Sales Leadership concentration by choosing three courses from below:

  • LEADING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (MKT 577)
  • SALES STRATEGY AND TECHNOLOGY (MKT 578)
  • SPECIAL TOPICS: SALES MANAGEMENT (MKT 798)
