Managerial Finance Concentration

(Weekend MBA Program only)

The Weekend MBA Program is a rigorous, yet rewarding program designed for the self-directed manager with an interest in using technology to supplement traditional MBA course work. The curriculum provides knowledge in each of the major business functions along with specialized courses in Management and Finance. Through a technologically enhanced format, the number of hours spent in class is reduced, making this program ideal for individuals with non-traditional work schedules.

Technologically Enhanced Format

The Rolling Meadows Weekend MBA program meets on alternate Saturdays, beginning from 8 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. The courses are arranged in a lock-step format to ensure program completion in 23 months and facilitate professional networking.

Program instruction will include in-class lectures and group activities as well as technology enhancements allowing students to supplement classroom activities from remote locations.

Participants will utilize Course Online and Blackboard.  It is strongly recommended that any student interested in entering this program have access to a PC or laptop with CD-ROM drive, a broadband connection and Microsoft Office Suite software.

The Cohort Concept

Participants in the Rolling Meadows Weekend MBA Program benefit from the opportunity to share information with one another as well as the instructor.
