Leadership and Change Management Concentration

This program is designed for managers seeking a fast-track career development option that will enable them to hone their skills in solving contemporary challenges in today's changing business environment. In today's global organizational environment, businesses need to know what, how and why changes occur. More than ever, managers need to develop creative, breakthrough solutions to challenging problems in order to be competitive. The Leadership and Change Management concentration is designed to help managers overcome compartmentalized, functional decision making approaches, as well as capitalize on innovative opportunities and address multidisciplinary problems that are inevitable in both expanding, as well as mature, businesses. It is also useful for those seeking a career in management consulting.

Completion of the concentration will equip you with the skills to manage organizational change internally, as well as develop external consulting skills. The program provides concrete knowledge and develops immediately applicable skills in:

Requirements

To complete the Leadership and Change Management Concentration, students must complete one required course (Leadership in Organizations: MGT 530 or Change Management: MGT 535). Students must also choose two additional courses (from among those listed below) that are decided upon after the student seeks career counseling.
